-Brandt proves her point with examples and explains how good can come from it all even to the sponsor themselves. I also agree with this because when a teacher helps you with something like another language, then you get it there so happy. Or when they do something that will make a difference like teaching someone to read it’ll become so much to them later and they will be able to look back on that. Even something like teaching a child to tie their shoes, when they see the child get it down and light up it makes it all worth it.
           
Applying and Exploring Ideas
-With the book restriction in my school, my teachers told us what we had to read for what project but by all means they never said we cant read certain things that I know of… If anything if you would read it was highly approved because no one really ever read and it would strengthen there reading skills.

  1. I think it is a fairly common thing to have schools endorse reading universally. However, how do you think your school (teachers, principle etc.) would have reacted if you brought in a book like Mein Kamp (by Hitler)?
